A big thank you for all the messages and support and thanks - it is really nice to see that these little emails can make a difference to you!

Many of you have asked us if there is a way you can make donations (either one off or weekly) to compensate us for our time or as a thank you.  We really appreciate the sentiment.  For the moment we are OK financially.   As a compromise we have added a donation button with the promise that any money received will be used in the following ways:
  • 50% to contribute to the costs of the Sweetlead reopening party - whenever that may be!
  • 50% to be donated to the Samaritans.  This is the charity that I (Heidi) am a volunteer for and is playing a critical role right now.   Many people are in need of emotional support in these difficult times including healthcare workers.
PLEASE, do not feel any pressure to donate, especially if you have been financially impacted yourselves.  Trevor and I are doing this as a way to stay connected to you all because we miss you and our wonderful Wednesday evenings so much.  It also helps keep us out of mischief :-)
 We miss you all!
